So something happened with me tonight.. and I'm not usually the type who does discrimination and judges people depending on their cast race state or colour, but incidents like today make me believe k bhenchod nahi hote sab ek jaise.. "Pointing at you delhi walon" If you are in Mumbai on a vacation or for any shit, just keep in mind that Mumbai Tumhari baap ki nahi hai aani mumbaichya pori tumcha chutiyappa sahan karnar nahi.
I was standing near Santacruz Santacruz Life Santacruz meme station today, when 4 delhi boys, I knew they were from Delhi because of their accents, language, and the way they behaved, and some of the shit they said basically. So anyway I was standing near station with Sushil Kadam, he went to a shop to get some change as we didn't have any...I was standing in a corner when these 4 or 5 guys walked past me. I felt a slight touch on my "Ass" so I looked back to see what or who was it. When I saw these guys laugh and stare at me, I knew it was them. I even saw one of the boy sign and tell the other what he had done. 2 more of their friends joined them and started laughing. I am not the kind of person who will ignore and tolerate such shit so I questioned them back. They reacted in an usual expected behavior. But for obvious reasons Sushil got angry and Shouted them for their behaviour. Any of you guys would have done the same if someone did the same thing with their Sisters, mothers, girlfriends or even friends. I appreciate what you did for me Sushil, and I'm lucky to have a person like you by my side. The argument heated up, and people started gathering. I lost my control when the guy who just touched my Ass because he thought of me like I was some public property came and with a cunning smile said "Sorry sister", followed him a girl, who no one was even sure if she was with them, told to me, kya hua sister, kuch nahi hota, chhodo, galtise lag gaya hoga, so I asked her, tere picche koi haath lagata toh tera reaction same hota kya? But she was adamant on supporting them, maybe she was with them but seriously sister, I hope you don't face something like this, but I just wish for you to experience this shit once, just for the experience, the only thing I regret now is.. I should've slapped you too. It's because of girls like you, boys like this dare to do such shit. Anyway I lost my temperament, So I slapped him hard and said "Sorry". Yes I slapped him hard and said sorry because saying sorry doesn't... I repeat, If you have done something on purpose then saying "Sorry" With that stupid cunning half ass smile is just more insulting, so I slapped him hard, which obviously hurt his ego. Now he couldn't really do anything to me, because obviously according to the traditions we are brought up with, ladkiyon pe haath uthanaaa... Nahh! Ya ya watever, so that asshole of a guy diverted his anger on Sushil, and tried hitting him. Everyone was pulled apart by the crowd who didn't care by this time what had happen but were just trying to end the matter. Sushil and I, got in a rickshaw and left.
Now let me tell you something. So I don't mean to aim at one state and criticise, but the world as witnessed this over and over again, you are also titled as "The rape capital of India". Thodi toh sharam karo yaar. Aur agar aap log sochte ho Mumbai me aake you can do that same shit what you do in delhi then please, Aamhi mumbaichya pori aahot, Tumhala tumchya chadditach nahi tar, tumchya gaandit bamboo ghalayachi hi himmat aahe aamchyaat.
I didn't write this because I wanted to tell people what had happen with me today. I wrote this because, I want people to understand, if a girl is saying she has being touched in a wrong way, don't come and tell her, galtise laga hoga when the guys can be clearly seen as assholes, we understand good touch and bad touch, our intuitions are way way stronger than you guys. Don't tolerate such shit. Don't teach your girls to shut up and tolerate. Don't teach your boys that they can do whatever shit they want. And please #Mumbaipolice give us a right to chop off such culprits dicks.
We need to educate people that this is not right.
And this is not only about today.
Everyday when I go to the office. When I commute by train, bus, or any public transport, we women face these issues on daily basis. We are being touched, we are being teased, molested and raped. The only reason these people still do it and we still tolerate it is because, from childhood itself wrong things have being put in our brains. A girl is being thought by the ladies in their respective families to cook food and do household chores since her childhood, a boy is out with his friends with his respective family unaware of his whereabouts. There is soo much I want to say and there is soo much that needs to change. I know if this was my selfie, I would have gotten like 100 likes by now, and atleast a dozen comments saying, "Nice, beautiful, hot, sexy, pretty, and what not". But no one is going to read this message, this post. As I said, the mentality needs to be changed.
P.s. I did try calling the cops, but the crowd was overwhelming and half of those bastards literally flew off. The one who was fighting was the one who I slapped, because of which his ego was hurt and that was the only reason he was still there and fighting. In that moment, for me atleast it was important to safely escort my friend Sushil out as those bastards were trying to attack him as they couldn't really touch me. So we left.
Share or don't share, it's upto you, but teach your daughter's and son's the right lessons. Teach your sons that girls are not your property and you have no right to disrespect any girl, teach your girls to not get scared and tolerate such shit.
Mene mera #thappad maara. Ab aap chup mat raho.
